Crisp air, color changing leaves, sweaters and football....Fall us upon us!
September is a month that your not quite ready for the bold red, yet you have had enough of the crisp whites you have been drinking all summer long. During this time, all of us at Wine and Dogs turn to Pinot Noir and one of my favorite is from the Silver Oak sister vineyard; Twomey. They are consistent year after year in their delicious Pinot Noir wines always with a rating of 91pts and higher. Today, I am tasting a 2018 Last Stop Russian River Valley Pinot Noir that is both earthy and hints of spice and black cherry. The smooth wine is perfectly paired just about any pork dish and roasted vegetables.
You can purchase this at both wine.com as well as Twomey.com
