2018 Nickel & Nickel Harris Vineyard Merlot, Oakville, Napa Valley

Although Nickel & Nickel is well known for their delicious cabernets, they also make a fabulous Merlot!  A perfect 2018 vintage for this grape makes a stunning wine that is both smooth and spicy all at the same time.  

You will want to pair with a dish just as rich as this Merlot; such as braised short ribs, rib eye steak, or a delicious pasta dish.  Perfect for entertaining, this will impress wine lovers and maybe even get a few people who watched Sideways too many times to change their mind about Merlot.
